I created this ...
I created this design in 1986, using the? exact same technique that you see here. Those who assumed that there was nothing to it, decided to use bases with poles, sticks and pipes. All wrong! Using poles and bases will cause the center of the body to stretch open and you cannot use a section of all six of the rainbow colors. At best you can use four colors. A balloon clown with a post and base will look clumpy and sloppy. Hope this answer helps. Charles Prosper
